Automated test tools
We are often asked which automated testing tool is needed.
Any automated testing tool, which has a comprehensive programming language, can be used. We have used Scenario Tester with the following tools:

In many projects we do not use an automated testing tool, but a regular programming language such as Microsoft Visual Basic. We then compile the code and can distribute the executable to all the testers who need to run automation. This is a considerable saving to the project.
For mainframe and green screen applications, we exclusively use a development tool like Visual Basic.
